This is a low cost sensor used in general purpose temperature measurement applications. It uses a DS18B20 chip with 12 bit resolution. The Rom ID of the DS18B20 chip is printed on a heat shrunk label that is on the wires near the probe. This sensor is parasitically powered in the 2 wire
